Our Landscaping is Complete - the Plants and Trees are in Full Bloom

We enjoy watching the birds use the bird baths

Looking over our property to the corner of Third and Maple

A second pergola draws our members into the yard for some outside activities.
Our members now have a shady place to enjoy outdoors.
A good view of one of the decomposed granite pathways.  A crape myrtle tree in in bloom. just give it a few years for a full display of pink flowers.

Thanks to our fantastic landscape architect, Laurel Brady, our property is both beautiful and drought tolerant.

Some of our path are concrete while others ate decomposed granite.

More progress is being made on our landscape project made possible from our Community Development Block Grant. The hard scape is finished and the irrigation is in so it's time for planting.

Rosie stands watch over the project.

Laurel, our landscape architect, places the plants for the most appeal.

Plants are in so  it's time for mulch.

Our Community Developement Block Grant Funds at Work

The forms are ready.  Let's pour!!

The patio and a walkway are complete

Linking the walkway to the front yard.

We are so grateful to the County of Santa Barbara for granting us the CDBG grant that is making the improvements to our property a reality.  With this grant money we are also able to satisfy our Conditional Use Permit requirement to install City sidewalks .  We expect to complete the hard-scape and the landscape by the end of May.  Come by and see the beautiful transformation.

It's Time to take out the Weeds

A transformation has begun

Good bye weeds and maybe gophers?
We are using a Community Development Block Grant funds to make improvements to our property.  Watch as we transform our property from a weed patch to a beautiful property suited for our participants enjoyment.
