Our Garage Sale is a Success

Our 30th Anniversary Party at Clos Pepe Vineyard

Good morning and happy Monday Friends!! We had a very successful 30th Anniversary celebration!! Thank you to everyone that supported the event. Thank you to Doug and Rich for the wonderful bbq. Thank you Kaitlyn Chui Band , Dylan Ortega Band, and The Country Classics for the great music!!

Our OPEN HOUSE was a HUGE success

We would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who came to our Open House on Saturday!! We appreciate all of you for taking the time to stop by and see our beautiful house and to see what we do here at Valley Haven. Thank you again and come see us anytime!!

Good Friends and Good Food make for a Good Time.  We are grateful for a generous donation that made it possible  to install a new floor in the Activity Room and some much needed storage.

During the Open House we had a ceremony dedicating our new flag.  Thank you to Loretta Skinner for her help in acquiring our flag for Valley Haven.  It was flow over our nations capital building in Washington, D.C.  for one day and dedicated to Valley Haven Adult Day Program.  The ceremonial flag is in a case on display inside Valley Haven. We will treasure it and the nation it represents.

The BIG Garage Sale is a Huge Success

A BIG thank you to all who helped with our garage sale on Friday and Saturday. Those who lent assistance were Gumby, Jim, Sally, Nils, Susan, Diane, Linda, Marilyn, Julie, Kirstie, Jeff, Jake, Mary Lou, Tom, Kathy, Pete and Martin. We couldn't have done it without your help. Thank you to all the members of the community who donated items to sell at the garage sale. Thank you to the Lompoc Record and the Lompoc Chamber of Commerce for their stellar media coverage of our event. We made in excess of $2300 which will go to provide scholarships for our participants. This event also provided an opportunity to share what the Valley Haven Adult Day Program does for the seniors in our community.

Valley Haven is Having a Garage Sale

Do you have crowded closets and are looking for an excuse to unburden yourself of some of your "stuff"? 
 Keep Valley Haven in mind as a source to make your donation.  

We will be holding a garage sale on December 5th & 6th at Valley Haven.  

We could use your donated items to make our garage sale a huge success.  Please bring your donated items to Valley Haven at 502 No Third St by December 3rd. 

Thank you for your support.  Valley Haven is a non-profit corporation and fundraisers are needed so we can continue to offer scholarships to our participants.

Fireworks Sale?

In light of the recent Miguelito Canyon fire, the Lompoc City Council is reconsidering allowing the sale of safe and sane fireworks within city limits.  The subject is up for discussion at the city council meeting on June 3rd.  IF we are allowed to sell fireworks this year as a fundraiser, our location will be the Big Brand Tire Store parking lot at 701 W Central.  Please stop by and support Valley Haven.

Fireworks Fundraiser in July

We won the lottery!!  The City of Lompoc lottery that is, to sell Fireworks this July.  We were one of  several non-profit organizations to win the opportunity to sell fireworks.  This fundraiser will allow us to provide scholarship funds for our participants. Please plan to make your safe and sane TNT fireworks purchase with us this Fourth of July.  Our location will be in the Big Brand Tire store parking lot, 701 W Central. Thank you for your support!!
